HSC education and my teaching philosophy

I care about teaching that is rigorous, honest and realistic: clear explanations, realistic anecdotes, respect for how stress actually feels in the HSC year, and targeted practice that builds real understanding — not just pattern-matching past papers.

After six years in the classroom, hundreds of students helped and thousands of hours sunk into refining my teaching philosophy, I have poured everything into one final project: the Jason Lin Gauntlet, a capstone 4U mathematics examination and a curated collection of the highest-quality and most devilishly challenging questions I have encountered. It also includes a selection of original problems designed to extend and test understanding at the very edge of the 4U syllabus.
